About Heirloom Ink

A family recipe is more than a list of ingredients. It’s a familiar loop of handwriting, a note in the margin, and a meal that brings someone back to the table.

Heirloom Ink’s Recipe Rescue turns handwritten recipe cards into hardcover family cookbooks. We clean up distracting stains, preserve the original handwriting, and add a typed transcription opposite it. Family photos and short stories make room for the people behind the food.

Our mission is simple: help families keep the recipes they can’t replace. A cookbook can be a holiday gift, a wedding keepsake, or a way to remember someone through the dishes they loved.

Your family’s material, treated with care

Send phone photos or ask about mailing original cards. Before mailing, confirm how originals will be handled and returned. Share only recipes and photos you have the right to use—not recipes clipped from published cookbooks or magazines.

Your family’s stories aren’t marketing material by default. We only share reveal videos with written consent.
